Nana Darkoa Sekyiamah
The Author of "The Sex Lives of African Women", a communications strategist with 20+ years of experience, and also co-founder of Adventures from the Bedrooms of African Women, Nana is widely recognized as a key African feminist working at the intersections of gender, sexualities and technologies. The impact of her work has been documented by CNN in a film titled, Not Yet Satisfied.Nana was cited by the BBC in its list of 100 inspirational and influential women in 2022.

Fatima Derby
Fatima B. Derby (she/they) is a queer African feminist writer, communications consultant and community organizer with over 5 years of experience in writing, social media management, content creation, design and digital media strategy. Fatima has a BA degree in English from the University of Ghana, Legon and provides communications services to Black feminist and LGBTQI+ organizations working to advance the freedom of Black people everywhere

Doris is a communication expert with over 4 years experience. She is An African feminist, queer activist and movement builder, Doris is a member of Drama Queens (a feminist, queer, pan-African collective based in Ghana).

Benedicta Yayra Azagloh
Benedicta is a digital communication associate and a lawyer enrolled to the Ghana Bar. Benedicta is passionate about promoting equality and inclusion and strives to make a meaningful impact in the lives of women and girls and other marginalised communities. Benedicta brings a unique blend of legal insight, creative digital marketing skills, and a strong commitment to community engagement, producing impactful social media campaigns and strategies relevant to MAKEDA’s clientele.

Jamila Abbas
Jamila Abbas is a young black feminist with experience in movement building and NGO work. She is passionate about political theory notably queer and feminist Islam, anarchism and black feminism. She has experiential knowledge of holistic and ancestral healing practices. She has skills in writing, communications, facilitation and administration.
